A jacket and trouser set in navy blue woven fabric, waterproof membrane of yellow non-woven with white coating, yellow non-woven insulating layer and grey woven lining: the two inner layers are quilted.
The collar is formed from the main assembly and has a further layer of navy blue fabric on the inner face. Both garments have 5 cm-wide bands of reflective tape, grey in the center and fluorescent yellow on the edges arranged horizontally thus: two around the upper body, two around each sleeve and two around each leg and then vertically on back joining the top and bottom bands and on the outside-leg seams.
Garment comprising front and rear pieces, sleeves, collar and cuffs.
Each front piece is straight and made from a single piece of fabric, and close down the center with a plastic zip with metal pull which runs from the bottom of the collar to 5.5 cm from the hem, covered by a 10 cm wide exterior flap sewn to the left-hand front and fastening over the right with self-fastening tape and an interior flap formed by an extension of the right-hand front measuring 3 cm in width.
The left-hand breast has an expanding pocket with a horizontal opening, closed with self-fastening tape. Inside at the flap seam is a strip of self-fastening tape (hook face). Either side at the waist is a pocket with a horizontal opening, closed with a flap fastened with a piece of self-fastening tape. The left-hand pocket has a strip of fabric which closes over itself with a metal snap button and the right-hand front has an interior pocket with a horizontal opening, closed with a flap fastened with self-fastening tape. The back is made from a single straight piece of fabric and a garment identification label and hanging loop are attached at the collar seam.
The sleeves are made from 3 pieces of fabric sewn together: two vertically along the length of the sleeve and one oval-shaped underarm piece. The sleeves end in an interior backstitched hem and adjust with self-fastening tape. A storm cuff is inserted in navy blue knitted fabric. At the underarm seam interior and the cuff is a loop of fabric. The collar is straight with rounded edges and closes at the throat with a strip of fabric attached to the left-hand wing and fastening across the right with a strip of self-fastening tape. The jacket ends in an interior backstitched hem.
Comprising front and rear pieces, waistband and braces:
The two fronts are made from a single piece each and joined to each other at the inside and outside leg seams and the crotch. The fly fastens with a strip of self-fastening tape and a metal snap button. The two rear pieces are made from a single piece each and joined to each other at the inside and outside leg seams and the crotch. A garment size label is attached inside at the waist seam.
The waistband is made from a single, 4.5 cm-wide piece of fabric and is elasticated at the sides. There is a belt loop either side at the front, holding black plastic quick-release buckles and the braces are sewn to the back of the waistband. The braces are made in black elasticated tape and have a plastic adjuster and quick-release buckles in black plastic, male. The braces cross over at the back, and are fixed with stitching. The trousers end in an interior backstitched hem.
