M Series Total Flooding Solution
M Series Total Flooding Solution
Intuitive. Responsive. Scalable.
The Ceasefire M Series Total Flooding System is an automatic, responsive and scalable system configured using the M Series Automatic Wall Mounted and/or Ceiling Mounted extinguisher units as basic building blocks.
In such a system configuration, the M series extinguishers are deployed with Metron Actuators (as additional add-on devices) on top of their nozzle heads for electrical activation. These units are then connected with a network of detectors via a control panel.
The modular nature of these extinguishers make them retrofittable and can instantly be mounted in a variety of spaces, making the premises self-reliant on fire safety, without having to undertake any structural changes in the space.
The detection module of the system can be configured using a wide variety of detectors such as smoke detectors, beam detectors, heat detectors, or others depending upon the fire risk faced by the premises and all interact via a central control panel.
A key feature of the M Series Extinguishers is the presence of a pressure port in them that makes the extinguishing units monitorable by opting for a pressure switch. With this the system can be pressure monitored and triggers a response on activation of the units in the control panel.
How the System Works
The system works on the principle of cross-zoning. Only when two or more detectors, from two separate zones, confirm the fire episode to the control panel, the panel sends an activation signal to the system.
The activation signal is sent to the Metron Actuator in the form of an electrical impulse. On receiving this electrical impulse a metal pin is fired inside the actuator that breaks the glass vial present at the discharge point of extinguishing units, triggering the discharge of the agent.
What makes such a system configuration truly versatile is that all fire suppression system units are triggered simultaneously to achieve total flooding results.
Configuring an M Series Total Flooding Solution using Ceasefire M Series Extinguishers for any premises requires a design process to be followed as defined in the system’s manual.
Monitoring Capability:
A big feature of M Series Extinguishers is their ability to become monitorable with the presence of an in-built pressure port.
By opting for a Pressure Switch these extinguisher units can be pressure monitored on the system’s control panel and to get a response on activation of these extinguisher units.
Available In Two Powerful Agent Choices
The Wall Mounted Automatic M Series Fire Extinguishers are available in two-agent options namely: Clean Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12) Gas and ABC Powder. Availability of the extinguishers in these two agent options makes the M Series System deal for a wide range of applications.
While the ABC Powder offers a potent fire extinguishing agent option, the availability of the system in Clean Fluoroketone (FK-5-1-12) gas ensures these extinguishers cause no collateral damage and leave no residue while putting out the flames. Being Fluroketone based these are safe to be used in confined spaces with human presence.
All components mentioned below are individual add-on items and need to be ordered separately to configure the system. Configuring an M Series Total Flooding Solution requires a design process to be followed as defined in the system’s manual.
1. Wall Mounted Automatic M Series Extinguishers:
The Wall mounted Automatic M Series extinguishers function as a stand alone extinguishing units that work automatically on thermal actuation in their original design. With simple wall-mount brackets, installation is quick and seamless. The telescopic arm (optional) further ensures precise coverage of hard-to-reach fire risk zones, offering an ideal solution for challenging installations while saving valuable floor space.
These wall-mounted automatic M Series extinguishers come equipped with a pressure monitoring port and by opting for a Pressure Switch these can be made monitorable by integrating it with third party devices such as BMS, Fire alarm systems, or Stand alone Sirens or Strobes.
The Wall mounted Automatic M Series extinguishers come in 1kg, 2kg, 4kg, 6kg and 9kg size variants.
2. Ceiling Mounted Automatic M Series Extinguishers:
Ceasefire Ceiling Mounted Automatic M Series Extinguishers are self-contained units with thermal sensors that detect the rise in the temperature of the area and activate automatically, even when there is no one present, ensuring that the fire is brought under control early and efficiently.
A key benefit of these units is that they not only bring automated protection for places with low human traffic, but being ceiling mounted they also save productive floor space of any premises in a big way.

The Ceiling Mounted Automatic M Series extinguishers come in 2kg, 5kg, 10 kg and 15 kg size variants
3. Pressure Switch
The presence of pressure switch makes the extinguishing units monitorable in nature so the user can always check the system’s readiness. This optional device's role is to convert a mechanical action into a switching effect that completes the circuit to send a signal to activate the third party devices such as fire alarm systems, sounder beacons or building management systems. This optional device's role is to convert a mechanical action into a switching effect that completes the circuit to send a signal to activate the third party devices such as fire alarm systems, sounder beacons or building management systems.
4. Metron Actuators:
This is an essential device required to configure a total flooding system using M-Series Extinguishers. The metron actuator receives an electrical impulse from the panel and fires a metal pin inside the actuator that breaks the glass vial placed at the discharge point of M-Series extinguishers.
5. Detectors:
The system has a wide-ranging line-up of detection devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, flame detectors, and beam detectors. A mix of these devices may be used in the system based on the fire hazard of the premises.
6. Sounder Beacon:
Ceasefire’s Sounder with Beacon (optional) is a vital addition to our suite of fire safety solutions, engineered for effortless integration with all pressure switch compatible solutions such as wall mounted and ceiling-mounted fire extinguishers. Built to respond instantly in emergencies, this high-performance device combines a brilliant strobe light with a powerful audible alarm to deliver clear, unmistakable alerts in the event of a fire, ensuring your premises stay protected at all times.
7. Telescopic Arm
The optional telescopic arm ensures precise coverage of hard-to-reach fire risk zones, where protecting specific assets is the priority.
8. Manual Actuator:
The Manual Actuator is a device that allows the users to activate the system independent of the automatic system actuation. This is particularly useful when the user has detected fire at an early stage and wants to activate the system immediately, before the system kicks into action automatically.
